Gerald Markham was a husband,father,grandfather and firefighter. On 1/9/1999 my dad was taken from us very unexpectedly he was a diabetic and had a massive stroke. He was a very devoted husband to my step mother Annetta. Dad is sadly missed. He was an only child. He worked for the Kankakee fire department as a firefighter then a fire inspector.
Dad loved to have barbecues he loved making barbacue chicken and burgers.He also loved his motorcycle when the day came to sell his bike he cried that was one of his passions was when spring came to get his bike out and just take off. One thing I didn't get from dad was organization dad was very organize he knew where everything was.
Another passion of dad's was decorating the house at Christmas time with many decorations and lights inside and out .
Dad it has been 9 years since you were called back home to be in the arms of God. You are sadly missed you may be gone from here but never forgotten. I know you are with your grandson/ my son Ryan I am sure you two are having a great time .

or the PEACE here in this place

WITH OUR SAVIOR face to face
